Back & White Photo of Victoria Hotel. Picture shows the hotel with a sign on top of building that reads: VICTORIA HOTEL. It is a two story building of cinderblock bricks. There is a telephone pole outside front door, on the street. Facing the picture, on the right side of the building, is an awning covering approximately six of the windows on the street level floor. In the street is a buggy drawn by a dark horse and a man with a hat sitting in the open carriage. on the right hand lower side of the picture, in white letters is: O. T. Davis Photo No. 670. The Victoria was located on Sixth and State, across from the train depot and was destroyed by fire in the late 70s or early 80s. |
