A pile of hay sits behind the buckrake, indicating the amount of hay that they were raking in. Both horses appear to be large work horses, a light Chesnut color with blonde manes.

The Machinery appears to be mostly wooden like a wagon and is pulled by two horses. The picture was taken in or near the stables where the manure was most likely taken up onto the equipment.
